How Wilmington "Speed Dating" Works?
1. Check out our site for Upcoming Events for your preferred age range & gender. If you don't see an event that matches your preferences, please join the Event Notification List.
2. Register for an upcoming event or to be informed of future ones. You can register on our website or by phone. Pre-registration is required. There will be no registration at the door. Once you have registered, we will send you all of the event details by email.
3. Please show up EARLY for an event so that we can get you your name tag and scorecard and to ensure that the events begins on time. 30 minutes prior is recommended.
4. You will meet anywhere from 10-20 (and sometimes more) singles in a series of 5-6 minute speed dates. We facilitate the entire event so that you can sit back relax and have fun meeting new interested singles, all without the fear of giving or receiving rejection.
5. On your scorecard you note who you would like to see again and get to know better, and everyone else does the same. At the end of the event everyone turns in their completed scorecards to the event coordinator.
6. Within 24 hours, we email you a list of the participants who have expressed interest in hearing from you. After that, it is up to you. Thanks to the Speed Date, the odds of you now making a lasting connection is greatly increased.
